🍵 We're a small crew of home fermenters who got tired of guessing tea-to-sugar ratios and squinting at handwritten brew logs taped to the fridge. BoochyBoochy started as our own kitchen tool before it became an app for the wider kombucha community.

BoochyBoochy: Kombucha & SCOBY Studio was built as an offline-first fermentation companion. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the app — and the short version is: nothing leaves your device.

Information We Collect
BoochyBoochy does not collect any personal information, account details, brew data, photos, or usage statistics. There is no sign-up, no login, and no data entry field that transmits information to us or anyone else.

How We Use Information
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used. We do not analyze your batch history, tasting notes, SCOBY logs, or timer activity, and we never sell, rent, or share information with advertisers or data brokers.

Data Storage
All calculator inputs, fermentation timers, pH logs, SCOBY journal entries, recipe archives, and batch photos are stored locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud server, and BoochyBoochy has no backend database that could hold your information.

Third-Party Services
The app contains no analytics software development kits, no advertising networks, and no third-party trackers of any kind. BoochyBoochy works fully offline and never phones home.

Data Security
Since your brew logs, photos, and calculator history never leave your device, they are protected by your device's own security settings. There is no remote database for us to secure because none exists.

Children's Privacy
BoochyBoochy does not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. As no data is gathered from any user, the app is inherently compliant with children's privacy protections such as COPPA.

Your Control
There are no accounts to manage and nothing stored outside your device, so you are always in full control. Deleting the app permanently removes all associated batch history, SCOBY records, and photos — no request to us is required.

Changes to This Policy
If our data practices ever change, we will update this policy within the app and revise the effective date above. Continued use of BoochyBoochy after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
